This Island Earth (1955)

The film, This Island Earth, features one of the more iconic alien images from the 1950s. This alien, called a ‘Metaluna Mutant’ is a 1/4th scale resin bust released by the kind folks at Geometric. Once washed and prepped it was time to slap on paint. For the base, various images of movie posters and lobby cards from the movie were reduced and attached to the base. All paints are acrylics.
