Wolf Dracula from Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992)

 In Modern Classics

Francis Ford Coppola produced his version of Dracula that has its own unique look and design. The long out-of-business company, Horizon, made a series of vinyl figures in the 1990s based on characters in the Coppola film. Though the character, wolf Dracula, was briefly seen in the film this version effectively captures the beast in his fine form. Since this figure is vinyl special care is necessary to prevent long-term drooping and sagging of parts due to warping (heat, environment, etc.) so the bottom half of the figure was filled with plaster of paris. To strengthen the upper portion of the body it was filled with expandable foam with 3/32nd inch brass wire inserted into the arms to add further support.
