Bat Dracula from Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992)

 In Modern Classics

Another creature in the Coppola Dracula film is the bat version. This well represented vinyl version was released in the 1990s by the now out-of-business company, Horizon. As with all vinyl models there will be long-term issues due to sagging and bending of parts due to time, heat, environment, etc. Therefore, the bottom half of the figure was filled with plaster of paris. 3/32nd inch brass rods were inserted in the legs and arms to provide further support. The upper half of the figure was filled with expandable foam.
