Cyclops Skull

The Ray Harryhausen film, 7th Voyage of Sinbad, is a favorite for many reasons. A highlight of the film is the cyclops. At a recent Wonderfest show a dealer had an amazing resin version of the cyclops skull. The detail in the skull is most remarkable which is why I am disappointed in not knowing who the sculptor is (neither did the dealer). The skull was washed to remove any residue and cleaned up. The horn was pinned and epoxy glued to the skull. A dark walnut stain was brushed over the skull and wiped off. After drying the skull was dullcote sealed.
