Creature from the Black Lagoon: Devonian Encounter

From the kind folks at Monsters in Motion is this diorama of the Creature From the Black Lagoon.  Devonian Encounter.  The Creature, the girl, the sunken boat, and the aquatic life all combine to tell an interesting story.  Schools of fish, sea bass, an eel, a snapping turtle, anchor chain, and seashells were added to make the scene more visually interesting.  The challenge with this diorama was engineering the creature’s hand to the girl’s leg with her hand grabbing onto the sunken boat.  All diorama elements were pinned together for added support.  All paints are acrylics.
