Steampunk Tik-Tok

L.Frank Baum wrote 15 books in the Wizard of Oz franchise. Most of us are familiar with the first book and the 1939 film version starring Judy Garland. The 8th book in the series is titled, Tik-Tok of Oz, and features a wind-up mechanical man. The 1/6th scale figure shown here, Construct 1, manufactured by GarageKitsusColors.com, is a modern version of Tik-Tok as he is rolling down the yellow brick road. The challenge was to carefully paint the intricate designs on the figure. Essentially, hold your breath and go for it. One stroke at a time. All paints are acrylics.
