Harryhausen’s Medusa

The creatures spawned from the mind of Ray Harryhausen are mostly based on Greek Mythology.  From the film, Clash of the Titans, comes the Medusa with her head of snakes.  Those unfortunate to look her in the eye are turned to stone.  This diorama comes from the kind folks at Geometric (long out of business).  The Medusa herself is vinyl and treated as such.  To give weight to her she is filled with plaster.  The base is all resin.  All paints are acrylics.
