Ygor is trying to restrain the monster from attaching Frankenstein.  The challenge in this piece was coordinating and matching the complicated hand arrangements.

Baron Wolf von Frankenstein (Basil Rathbone), son of Henry Frankenstein (creator of the Monster), relocates his wife Elsa and young son Peter to the family estate in the eponymous village. Frankenstein’s desire to recast his father’s reputation becomes obsessive as a result of (what he believes to be) unfounded hostility from the villagers, as memories of the Monster remain fresh in the people’s minds. Aside from his family, Frankenstein’s only friend is the local policeman, Inspector Krogh (Lionel Atwill), who bears an artificial arm.
