“Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” (1953)
One of the more interesting “Meet” films of Abbott & Costello in which the (unrecognizable) Boris Karloff is under all that makeup of Mr Hyde. For the lamp I cut clear plastic sheets (from blister packs) and placed them over each section to serve as glass panes. The cape is made from a (very) thin clear vacuum form molded piece that required delicate handling. To add some strength to the piece several black basecoats were added to each side, sealed with multiple coats of sealer followed by the inside red and then more sealer.
