Lon Chaney Tribute

This Lon Chaney diorama by Janus was put together during the mid-1990s and changed my life.  All the pieces are resin and treated as such.  The columns are PVC pipe that have been covered with tile texture.  I used a toothpick to paint the ‘veins’ of marble.  What caused my life to change is the makeup kit with all the squinting and focusing on small details.  As a result of working on that remarkable item of the diorama my eyes suffered and ever since I have needed bifocals.  We all suffer for our art.
