Haircut of the Apes

John Chambers was the makeup artist for the Planet of the Apes film franchise.  He won an Oscar for his work.  This 1/6th scale, 3-D printed, diorama, obtained at Wonderfest, accurately depicts a photograph of Chambers making up Roddy McDowell from the Planet of the Apes film, while reading an issue of Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine.  The barber pole is inside a clear acrylic tube to resemble typical barber poles.  All paints are acrylics.
