Aurora’s “Hunchback of Notre Dame”

 In Rare & Unusual

For the original run of the Aurora monster models during the 1960s the kits were sold in ‘long boxes’ which featured the amazing art of James Bama. The problem was the box art did not match the model, which really wasn’t much of a concern. The kind folks at Monster in Motion in association with Mark Warthling took care of this apparent deficiency by releasing a Jeff Yagher sculpted resin tribute of the Hunchback of Notre Dame that mimics the original Bama box art. The background features a castle along with a likeness of actor Anthony Quinn, just starring in a film of the same name. As a bonus, the kit also features a second head that resembles a later re-issue of the same Aurora kit. All paints are acrylics.
