Splitting Heads from “The Thing” (1982)

From the John Carpenter film, The Thing, comes another of the alien morphing body creations.  This one, also from the twisted mind of Rob Bottin, is the splitting heads as one becomes two.  It is painful to watch in the film and this version, brought forth by the kind folks at Monsters in Motion, expertly captures that moment.  All paints are acrylics.  The snow is by Woodland Scenics and attached with diluted white glue.
