Pennywise

 In Modern Classics

To many, clowns are creepy.  The clown, Pennywise, played by Tim Curry in the film, Stephen King’s It (based on his book), is one of the creepiest.  This all-resin, 1/6th scale version of Pennywise was manufactured by Alternative Images, and is considered a painter’s piece.  Images of the (fictitious) newspapers seen in the film -the ‘Derry Herald’ – were sourced from the Internet, sized, and printed for the figure.  One newspaper was made into a scaled paper hat boat, a key plot point in the film.  All paints are acrylics.
