Harpy from Jason and the Argonauts (1963)

“The number of creatures that sprang from the mind of Ray Harryhausen is difficult to comprehend. From his film, Jason and the Argonauts, we have his harpies. This beastie was produced courtesy of Dimensional Designs. The buildup was straightforward and since the body color is uniform it was easy to paint (a mixture of neutral gray and Payne’s gray). To help support the weight of its wings each has three pins to add strength.
