Return of the Fly (1959)

From Earth Bound Studios and sculptor Joe Simon comes this 3/4th scale all resin Big Head bust of the Return of the Fly.  This bust is about 18″ tall.  In the film, the fly, a common house fly, is described as a “bluebottle” so this determines the overall color.  The eyes are pearlescent.  For the head hairs the bristles of a broom were used.  Holes were drilled and each hair ‘follicle’ was inserted.   Also included are the fly ‘claw’ as well as the mini fly with the human head.  All paints are acrylics.
