Bama Box Art Godzilla Tribute

Artist James Bama created the cover images to the original Aurora monster model long boxes from the 1960s.  Though the cover art is interesting it did not resemble the actual model kit inside the box.  Very few complained.  Flash forward to the 21st Century and from Mark Warthling comes the “Bama box art Godzilla tribute” to pay homage to the Bama cover art on the original Godzilla long box from Aurora.  In addition to the all resin diorama is a relief plaque of the cover, the original styrene Godzilla, plus a recent toy release of the same pose, all grouped together.  All paints are acrylic.
