Mars Attacks! “No Place to Hide”

From Screamin’ comes this 1/8th scale mixed media diorama of a scene from the Mars Attacks gum cards titled, ‘No Place to Hide’.  Multiple sculptors for the diorama include, Daniel Mark Fay, Jeff Brower, James Chai, and Joe Laudati.  The base and wall are vinyl as is the torso of the Martian.  His arms, legs, backpack, raygun, and head are resin.  Metal for the gun hose and plastic for the helmet and broken window.  Since the base and wall are vinyl they were filled with plaster for long-term support.  The Martian torso was also filled with plaster for long-term support.  All paints are acrylics.
